Need nonfiction? I can help!

Last week, I added a couple of new reward levels to my Patreon:

Ghostwriter
$150 or more per month
In addition to all my writing, prompts, and monthly chats, I will write up to 750 words of nonfiction to order per month. Need technical documentation? Business letters? Memos? Reports? Blog posts? Copy writing? Instructional materials? Essays? Promotional copy? Flavor text? I can write from scratch or expand upon outlines or rough drafts. Research included, within reason.
Super Ghostwriter
$300 or more per month
In addition to all my writing, prompts, and monthly chats, I will write up to 1500 words of nonfiction to order per month. Need technical documentation? Business letters? Memos? Reports? Blog posts? Copy writing? Instructional materials? Essays? Promotional copy? Flavor text? I can write from scratch or expand upon outlines or rough drafts. Research included, within reason.

1500 words is roughly six double-spaced pages. Either of these reward levels would be useful to someone who needs a couple of new pages for their website, interviews or articles for a print newsletter, short help guides, letters, Powerpoint slides, etc.

I enjoy writing. But if you don’t? It’s perfectly understandable, and I can help you. My whole approach is that I want to be the kind of writer who can write most anything, and write it well. I’ve put a lot of effort into learning my craft. I have an MA in journalism (Indiana University, Bloomington) and an MFA in creative writing (Goddard College) and I’ve sold hundreds of nonfiction articles.

I’ve written quite a bit in my various day jobs. For instance, I’ve written RFP responses for a telemedicine company, college course content, informational video scripts, game text, marketing materials, online computer help documentation, Wikipedia articles, academic essays, newspaper stories, book reviews, and a wide variety of blog posts. I’ve interviewed folks like Clive Barker and Neil Gaiman.

I also have a degree in biology and have worked in a variety of IT positions and as a biomedical editor for working physicians and researchers, so I can handle scientific, medical, and technical writing.

I’ve written for RPGs and online games. I’m an avid board gamer and can handle content for those games as well.

You can find samples of my articles at CannaHealth, Strange Horizons, Nightmare Magazine, and Everything2.
